Professional Background
Dr. Kowal began his academic career at Syracuse University, where he earned a degree in Biomechanical Engineering and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, earning his Medical Doctor degree. Following medical school, he completed his residency training at the University of California, Irvine.
After residency, Dr. Kowal practiced otolaryngology in New York before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1992, where he specialized in the evaluation and treatment of both pediatric and adult patients.
