Tamberlynn Baker, CRNP
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
Tamberlynn Baker is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. She is licensed by the states of Alabama and Mississippi to provide healthcare to patients of all ages. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of West Florida with a BS in Nursing and earned her MS in Nursing from Florida State University in 1997. Her extensive healthcare career has yielded a variety of nursing experience including military medicine, rural health, and family practice. She has been providing care to children and adults as a nurse practitioner for 19 years in both primary and acute care settings.
In keeping with family tradition, she was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy Reserves in 1994 and currently is in an executive position for Operation Support Unit Camp LeJeune and holds the rank of Captain. She was mobilized in support of Operation Noble Eagle/Iraqi Freedom in March 2003 as a nurse practitioner and again in August of 2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom serving as the Senior Medical Officer for Naval Medical Processing Site Gulfport, Mississippi.
Tamberlynn believes each patient is a unique individual and care should be tailored to fit the holistic needs of each of her patients. She believes the relationship between the patient and provider should reflect a mutual respect and collaboration. Her goal is to be proactive and supportive while empowering her patients to take an active role in their heath care decisions.
Tamberlynn resides in Spanish Fort, Alabama with her husband, Kelly, their son, Alex, and daughter, Abby. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, skiing, running, and swimming.
